About

I’m a 40-something (I can say that for one more year then I’ll have to update this page) web developer who’s working on her photography skills. You can see them here on this site. I love taking pictures, especially portraits. Really, I like doing anything creative. When I was younger I used to draw all the time. Now that I’m older, I love to play in Photoshop whenever I can. To me, that’s half the fun of the photography. Check out my photography page and my blog for information on my photography.

As a web developer, I’m really mostly skilled with the front-end HTML/CSS stuff. I can do back-end coding, but it’s not where my heart is. I have always been visual, and I like turning designs into web pages. I like playing with web designing, too. But I don’t have too much spare time for that. Check out my web page for more on web stuff…..

My absolute favorite thing so far in life has been neither of these skills. It’s been being a wife and mother. Now my kids are all grown up and the youngest is off to college, the oldest is out on her own, and my middle child just graduated college. I wrote a photo essay about transitioning to an empty-nester. (I had to edit it to meet word restrictions, so it’s a little choppier than the original.)

Lastly, my faith is everything to me. I am a Christian, and love Jesus and His message of grace and love. The Bible is my handbook to living this life I am living here on this earth.
